It's easy to use!

Shapes are the basic building blocks of Tinkercad. Any shape can add or remove 'material', and you can also import or create your own shapes.

By grouping together a set of shapes you can create new models to work with. Build intricate shapes and create extremely detailed models.

Import 2D and 3D

Create vector shapes, then import and extrude them into 3D models. Additionally, you can import external 3D files which become editable Tinkercad shapes.

It's ready to print – and cut!

Click-to-3D print

Tinkercad supports all 3D printers on the market that accept standard STL file formats. You can also download VRML files for color printing.

3D printing services

Thanks to direct integration with leading third party printing services, you can design in Tinkercad, and then get your prints shipped to your door!

Laser cutting

The SVG export in Tinkercad works great for laser cutters. The workplane will cut a slice through your model, which then can be laser cut.

It's lightning fast!

Tinkercad runs in any web browser that supports HTML5/WebGL on Windows, Mac or Linux. Chrome and Firefox perform the best.

Cloud storage

3D designs that you create with Tinkercad are stored in the cloud, so you can easily access them from anywhere with an internet connection.

The geometry kernel performs all your editing operations in a large computing cluster with lots of machines. This makes Tinkercad pretty quick!
